Hey #Heartbreakers! Just wanted to let you know about an upcoming casting call for the National Tour of the Musical "Annie" that I just found out about :) As many of you know, I was Baby Louise in the 2007-2008 National Tour of the Broadway Musical "Gypsy." I traveled to 48 states and Canada for 9 months performing and it was hands down one of the BEST experiences of my life. It defined the direction of my career at such a young age and truly was an experience of a lifetime.

I often hear "I love to sing! How do I get into show business?" when I meet my fans at Meet & Greets or through direct messages on Twitter and Instagram, so I thought I would share this opprotunity with you. Go for it #Heartbreakers! Getting that opportunity you want is all about training, getting yourself in front of the right people, and being in the right place at the right time. You're going to hear a LOT of "no" before you get that one "yes" you've been looking for, so never give up!

The first show I ever auditioned for was Annie. I was cast as Duffy in the production at the famed Bucks County Playhouse and I ended up performing in Annie two more times, as Tessie and then as Annie (dream role, by the way). They took a chance on me and I'm so grateful that they did! I still remember the choreography from back in 4th grade and can recite the entire 1st scene word for word! And I learned so much more than just the songs and choreography - I learned about work ethic (and let me tell you, it's one of the most important things I've ever learned and I've carried it over into everything I do).
