USAGSO's Olympic Opening Ceremony Program Special Guest...Meet Lilah Fear: 2022 Olympic Ice Dancer!
Hey #Heartbreakers! I can't wait to see you on Friday, January 28th (Session 1) and Saturday, January 29th (Session 2) at USA Girl Scouts Overseas' Olympic Opening Ceremony Program, celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day!
We're going to learn about the Winter Olympic Sports and our female athletes participating in them and participate in special projects to cheer on our female athletes competing at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics & Paralympics!
Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from all Councils/in all program grade levels (Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors and corresponding program levels for International Member Organizations) can join us for either one session or BOTH sessions of our Free program! During each program, we'll be working on different projects for different female athletes and we can't wait for YOU to join the girl-power celebration!

Meet Lilah Fear: 2022 Olympian - Ice Dance, Team Great Britain!
Lilah Fear is a competitive ice dancer, representing Great Britain with her partner, Lewis Gibson. Together they are the 4-Time British National Champions, 2-Time Grand Prix Medalists and have been selected to compete at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics this February.
We are SO excited to have Lilah join us for our Olympic Celebration! She is the definition of Girl Boss!

- Lilah and Lewis will be skating to 'The Lion King' Soundtrack for their Free Program - get ready to see them roar across the ice in Beijing
- Lilah and Lewis just got back from competing in Tallinn, Estonia where they finished in 5th at Europeans! In 2021 during the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, they took home the Bronze Medal at NHK Trophy in Tokyo, Japan!
- Off of the ice, Lilah studies psychology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada
- Lilah is the host of the 'Lilah Jo Show' podcast. On her show, Lilah interviews Tony Award Winners to Olympic Champions, to provide role models for her generation and those to come. Lilah even interviewed Tony Award Winner David Alvarez (Alberto in Steven Spielberg's 2021 remake of West Side Story!) and Olympic Champion Tessa Virtue (one of Lilah's inspirations growing up in Ice Dance!). - Just like our Girl Scouts in USA Girl Scouts Overseas, Lilah lives all over the world, calling both Montreal, Canada and London, England her home(s)!
