Calling all Girl Scouts & Girl Guides! Be a part of GENE Radio's Christmas Show!
Want to hear yourself on the radio this Holiday Season?! This is your chance! Any member of Girl Scouts + Girlguiding can submit!
The GENE (pronounced GENIE) Radio Show is for all members and supporters of Girlguiding and airs once a month on CCR 104.4 FM in Chelmsford, England, as well as online. Girlguiding Essex North East created this amazing opportunity for Girl Guides to learn about radio and have hands on experience in the studio and on-site at events. I've had the amazing opportunity to be featured on the show in 2022 and 2023 - listen below or click HERE!
Maxine Jones is such an amazing radio host! Plus, teen members of Girlguiding in the UK also host the radio show, interview guests, and attend special events.
When Maxine was in the US last year (on my birthday!), we grabbed lunch at The Cheesecake Factory, chatted alllll things Girlguiding and Girl Scouts, and swapped patches and pins!

Submission details:
Simply record a voicenote/audio file on your smart phone and email to pr@girlguidingessexne.org.uk
- Any member of Girl Scouts and Girlguiding can take part, it's YOUR show.
- Parents, please feel free to send in your daughters' contributions.
- New GENE pin badges available to those whose features are included in the show (ability to ship may depend on where you are located in the world)
Recordings need to be sent no later than Thursday, November 30th to be featured in the December show.
