About Kristina: Pop singer/songwriter and GlamourGals Ambassador Kristina Lachaga has had a lifelong love for music and performing. Kristina has toured the U.S. and Canada playing the role of Baby Louise in over 200 shows in the National Tour of the Broadway Musical “Gypsy.” She began songwriting and transitioned into Pop music, performing on CBS/WBTV, at G.I.R.L. 2017 (Girl Scouts' National Convention), headlining QuestFest 2018 & 2019, and in over 150 schools across the country spreading her #FollowYourHeartsDream™ and ‘Sticks & Stones Anti-Bullying’ messages. “The Girl With The Big Pink Heart™” uses her voice to spread positivity and help young adults build confidence to explore their passions, work hard and be themselves. Kristina has shared the stage with Olivia Holt, Bea Miller, Skylar Stecker, Shawn Hook, Heffron Drive (featuring Kendall Schmidt from Big Time Rush, and Booboo Stewart.

About Annie: Annie Jorgensen is a recent graduate of the Honors Program at the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Communication Studies. Annie served as Miss Georgia 2018 with the Miss America Organization, where she traveled more than 40,000 miles promoting her self-confidence program #IGotThis to schools and with Girl Scout troops, advocated for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and has taken part in numerous community events. She has a strong journalistic experience, interning with CNN Newsource, and working with Grady Newsource, SB Nation - Swish Appeal, and the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance. In her spare time, Annie enjoys traveling (especially to the beach), running, and trying to catch up on Game of Thrones.

About GlamourGals, The Glammys, & The #GlamBehindTheGlammys:
GlamourGals (based in NYC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with 1300+ teen volunteers and over 100 chapters across the United States & Canada that inspires conversation and companionship through complimentary beauty makeovers given by the teen volunteers to seniors living in residential care. The program fosters these intergenerational connections on a national scale by organizing a network of volunteer chapters and training a movement of empathetic teen leaders to alleviate the issue of elder isolation.
Each year GlamourGals Foundation honors selected high school seniors from across the country with scholarship awards at an event held in May in NYC...The Glammys! This year, due to COVID-19 The Glammys are going virtual. Each scholarship winner is usually given a makeover of hair, make-up and nails before the event begins to honor them and their amazing work. This year, we're using the #GlamBehindTheGlammys to bring the glam to them virtually...like a masterclass for getting ready for the live stream, helping to create their Glammys and virtual Hot Pink Carpet looks, self-confidence, public speaking, pink party food to celebrate the big day, and more!

As an independent artist, Kristina has paved the way for her career, executing her own press out reach, scheduling bookings, implementing marketing strategies, social media management, and event coordination. Kristina is currently the Operations Manager for UnCancelled Music Festival, which brings together musicians, fans and venues from around the globe affected by the Covid-19 crisis for a virtual concert experience to help sustain the music industry during this trying and unprecedented time.
Shannon Murphy, Production Manager & Coordinator
Shannon Murphy is a Mathematics Educator. She has recently graduated from Stony Brook University with her MAT in Mathematics 7-12 with a 5-6 extension, and will soon be certified in New York State to teach Mathematics to grades 5-12. Shannon is currently the Assistant Center Director of a Mathnasium Learning Center. She has been involved with GlamourGals for five years starting as a summer intern, and then a Program Assistant while studying Mathematics at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College.
